This place is a joke! They may be cheaper but they have a hard time getting what you order, and getting it right when it gets to you. Ordered windows and doors 7 weeks ago, windows got delivered 3 weeks ago and were wrong color, but we're double hung. We sent back, they informed it would be 3 more weeks before the others would be here. Fast forward 3 weeks, Thursday they delivered all but the front door which they said wouldn't be here for another week, which is odd because they said doors would only take a week to get here, and told me last week the doors were all here, so I guess they sold my door to someone else, even though they made me pay for all windows and doors before they would order them. Well windows show up Friday after waiting for 6-7 weeks, and the guy in blairsville says it will be first of week before they can deliver even tho they have promised they would be on job thursday evening, then put off to Friday a.m. Well finally after getting ill with them, they show up on job Friday evening late, and now they are right color but are single hung instead of double hung, and one of the screens has a hole in it If you want to get shafted stop by they will treat you right, and not charge you as much, if you want what you paid for go anywhere but here!!!! If you read reviews below you will see a review from Eric Sebring, he is the manager of the store obviously he wouldn't give himself a bad review, that explains the 5 stars.
Incredible customer service! This place is the best choice in the N. GA mountains for windows, doors, lumber, siding, roofing, insulation and more! They have a truss and engineered wood specialist that works in the store M-F, I found that this was something that no one else offered in the area. They design, build and ship their own trusses (manufactured by them). This was a huge cost savings - the other suppliers in the area two step their truss and engineered wood product- WHY pay the middle man when you can do it all at Builders FirstSource cheaper and more efficiently. Over all awesome place to get any type of building materials.
